Our team takes pride in our refurbishment process. After our team is finished refurbishing a Large C-Arm, it will meet or exceed any OEM specifications for image quality, cosmetic appearance, and overall performance. Our customers are always welcome to our warehouse to see our Large C-Arm refurbishing process in person.

Below is our simplified refurbishment process:

  1. Upon arrival at our facility, the system is externally cleaned and disinfected. System is then internally disinfected. Special attention is given to X-ray tube and collimator area where most of the contamination is located.
  2. System is fully tested, and a comprehensive system report is generated.
  3. Problems are either repaired at this time, or, if it is more practical to make the repair when the system is dismantled, then needed repairs are noted on report which stays with machine throughout the process.
  4. Any hospital labels, adhesive or 3rd party marks will be removed.
  5. System is dismantled and any additional issues or potential problems found are noted on report or repaired at this time.
  6. All parts are then brought to our sanding area to be completely sanded down to the base to remove all scratches and blemishes.
  7. Parts are brought to our paint booth to be painted to OEM colors or to the color our customer would like (custom colors available.)
  8. After curing for 24 hours, painted units and components are brought back to their designated reassembly areas.
  9. Then all parts are thoroughly tested, changed or repaired (batteries, brakes, bearings, rollers, cables, locks, etc.)
  10. C-Arm and monitor cart is reassembled. Monitor cart CRT’s are replaced with upgraded Flat Panel LED Monitors.
  11. X-ray system calibration is performed, and settings are adjusted as needed.
  12. The Large C-Arm is thoroughly tested, has all functions checked, and system software updates are performed if needed.
  13. The system is then burned in for 72 hours.
  14. The Large C-Arm is then packaged with special attention given to corners, glassware and palletized for safe shipping.

Our Large C-Arms are sold as a turn-key solution, we will deliver the Large C-Arm to your location, install it at your facility, and fill-out the necessary FDA 2579 paperwork. Our refurbished Large C-Arm’s come with a one-year warranty because our customers needs important and we want to ensure our products are operating at its full ability for a long time.
